How BYBI Moisturizers Are Pro-Planet Friendly

At BYBI, we’re committed to leaving the earth in a better place than we found it - and we believe that great skincare shouldn’t come at a cost to the planet. When we develop a new product, we do it because we know it will genuinely help improve skin conditions or concerns, and we always do it using sustainable, vegan skincare ingredients and planet-friendly manufacturing and packaging processes.

Take our moisturizers. Each one has been created with a purpose in mind - whether that’s to soothe and hydrate dry, sensitive skin, help reduce signs of ageing, or even skin tone. And the benefits don’t stop at your skin. The packaging of all our moisturizers is made from sugarcane, a carbon-neutral material that is 100% recyclable - and they’ve got more eco-friendly credentials to boot.

Read on to find out how our moisturizers benefit your skin and the planet.

Face Base

Face Base BYBI Moisturiser

Skin Soother: Face Base is our lightweight, everyday moisturiser that’s suitable for all skin types. It contains jojoba oil to moisturise, and aloe vera to help suppress irritation, reduce redness and soothe inflamed, dry or itchy skin, whilst also leaving it feeling plump, soft and supple. Face Base is fast absorbing too, making it the perfect moisturiser for blending in BYBI Boosters for customisable skin benefits.

Planet Pleaser: We use grapeseed oil in Face Base, an upcycled ingredient from the wine and juice industries that would otherwise go to waste. As for our jojoba, it comes from the jojoba shrub, a widely renewable plant that grows in low soil quality conditions and requires little water.

Night Nutrition

Night Nutrition

Skin Soother: Night Nutrition is our overnight moisturizer that’s like a smoothie for your skin. It’s got broccoli seed oil that’s rich in vitamin A and fatty acids, as well as mango seed butter and oat kernel oil that create a creamy texture rich in lipids and ceramides, locking in moisture. Raspberry seed oil and a unique blend of superfood proteins from kale, lemon and carrot, are rich in antioxidants to repair and strengthen skin overnight.

Planet Pleaser: Night Nutrition contains more than 70% upcycled ingredients including clementine water that is a by-product of the juicing industry. This means we don’t need a secondary supply chain to grow the fruit in order to access the water.

Bakuchiol Skin Restore

Bakuchiol Skin Restore

Skin Soother: Bakuchiol Skin Restore is a hardworking night cream. It contains Bakuchiol, a vegan alternative to retinol that regenerates and replenishes skin, and stimulates collagen production to plump, firm, and smooth fine lines. Unlike retinol, this moisturizer is non-irritating and is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive. It’s also got a blend of shea butter and grapeseed oil which restores the skin's barrier and locks in moisture for supple, hydrated skin.

Planet Pleaser: Bakuchiol comes from the babchi plant. We work with a partner in India to source our Bakuchiol, who uses sustainable harvesting practices to ensure the continuous existence of the crop in the wild.

C-Caf Cream

C-Caf Cream

Skin Soother: C-Caf Cream is a lightweight moisturiser with double vitamin C and caffeine. Vitamin C brightens dull skin and improves the look of hyperpigmentation, scars and uneven skin tone, while caffeine reduces morning puffiness. It’s also got antioxidant-rich matcha extract, which helps to repair your skin from the effects of pollution and UV rays.

Planet Pleaser: C-Caf Cream contains more than 50% upcycled ingredients including bitter orange flower water that is a by-product of the essential oils industry. This means we don’t need a secondary supply chain to grow the flowers in order to access the water.
