The Oscars always make the perfect ending to awards' season – and in light of the Academy Awards' 90th anniversary, this year's Oscars were undeniably a little more special. No surprise then, that the makeup artists took note and brought the 2018 red carpet to the next level to suit – in both fashion and beauty.

Golden Glow

Zendaya was the epitome of 'sunkissed' on the red carpet with an airbrushed bronze blusher contrasting with a bold smoky eye. Get the look by dusting a little Ere Perez Rice Blush and Bronzer in Roma under your cheekbones, over your jaw and the sides of your forehead for a sculpted look.

Summer Orange

We loved this bright, summery look on Eiza Gonzalez. She paired a dark amber eyeshadow with a rich, firey lipstick to bring out the sunny vibes of her yellow dress. Recreate this at home by sweeping Ilia Beauty eyeshadow in Take On Me all over your lids and a swipe of Absolution lipstick in Rouge Coquelicot for the perfect pout.

Pantone Purple

Purple was announced as the official colour of 2018, and no one rocked it better at the Oscars than Taraji P. Henson of Hidden Figures fame. Shimmery silver-lilac eyeshadow helped make her eyes pop while the gorgeous berry lipstick grounded it all on red carpet glam.
